Meet Anastasia
Anastasia (she/her) is a Queer, certified intimacy director and coordinator, an award-nominated actor, and award-winning fight designer from Mohkinstsis (Calgary) on Treaty 7 Territory. She works teaching and directing students at: Ambrose University, Willow Park School and Calgary Academy. She is founding member of Principal Intimacy Professionals (PIPs), and an instructor for the PIP’s SAG-AFTRA accredited intimacy professional training program.
She directs with a joy, exploration, and collaboration. She has had the great fortune to hone her skills in Alberta’s welcoming and energetic communities. Anastasia holds accreditation in, Mental Health First Aid, and Psychological First Aid as well as Standard First Aid and CPR and holds mental health and trauma-informed care as central to her practice.

Award-Winning Direction
Anastasia has won three awards for Outstanding Fight Direction over the course of her career from Calgary’s Alliance of Community Theatres, spanning from 2015 to 2019, and has been nominated for Actor of the Decade by Broadway World, as well as additional nominations from Calgary-ACTs. She was a part of Artist Collective Theatre’s production of Genesis in Edinburgh, which was awarded the Derek Award for Best Overseas Production.
Looking Ahead
Canada is working to be at the forefront of Intimacy Professionals, with companies and organizations like Principal Intimacy Professionals and the National Society of Intimacy Professionals setting industry standards and providing training for Intimacy Professionals on sets across the nation.
